We recommend not cooling the stainless steel cup in a water bath or submerging it in water.
Because the carabiner is attached to the stainless steel cup, water can penetrate through the outer skin into the space between the stainless steel cup.
The stainless steel cup loses its insulating properties as soon as water enters the space between the stainless steel cup.
