Our club was founded on July 17, 1994 (the day of the World Cup final).
On its founding day, 17 members gathered at the Ur-Pils-Stube Bechhofen to finally have a fan club in our Palatinate hometown again.
Especially since Bechhofen isn't just any place in the Palatinate, but the birthplace and home of former FCK professional Thomas Dooley.
Today, our club has become a major player among the existing local clubs.
Our current membership is 72 members (as of January 2015).
FCK has divided its fan clubs (currently 400 registered clubs) into fan regions. From 1994 to 2014, our fan club belonged to the Südwestpfalz region (formerly Pirmasens/Zweibrücken), and since 2015, we have joined the Kaiserslautern/Sickinger Höhe fan region.
